Brief Description:  Wiring and Firewall Pass thru

Part of the whole wiring procedure is not just connecting wires to switches, circuit breakers, fuses, and components they are powering.....but securing the wiring can really become the biggest job of all.

I ran the fuel pump wires through the left gear tower. Well you have to secure them from flopping all around the vent and brake lines as well as other items where they might get frayed and present you with an impromptu light show when you really weren't expecting to see one! So it took a while to use lacing and zip ties to get the wiring secured inside the tower.....glad that is done!

I then decided to get the electrical compartment firewall pass-thru located and drilled to get that portion complete before I had a million ground wires in the way on the forest of tabs. I made an oversized template that would fit in the firewall area (which has minimal space) where the pass-thru would be centered. I drilled the hole locations in the template and secured it in place with double sided tape. I will drill and cleco the holes and then open them up after getting them located.
Template is in place and ready for drilling next session.
