Brief Description:  More Snorkle - Skirt - and Oil Moount Work

I started with locating the place where I wanted to rivet the front skirt. I don't know what I did to be distracted or just plain dumb but the mounting of the skirt left a large gap in the front because it wasn't laying along the frame weldment. Anyway after specking to guru Rick we came up with a plan to rectify the issue. In E/AB realm there are times where you figure out how to do something and other times your figuring out how to fix some bonehead task you have done.

So this was fixing something I overlooked when I did the canopy skirt. I have an assortment of cherry max rivets that I bought some time ago. I measured carefully and marked two holes to hold down the skirt. I drilled and countersunk them then set the rivets. I will consult with Rick again for his expertise on the fiberglass work.

I then laid some micro on one side of the snorkle and let it sit per Robs suggestion. The snorkle is in an oily and harsh environment inside the cowl area....so I am going to process it and paint it in order to protect it a little from the environment. I already had to modify it for the starter motor and since I cut it in order to fit properly. The snorkle has taken a lot of time....but at this point it seems that there are more sessions where you go from one thing to another anyway to keep the ball rolling.

Finally I started getting the painted oil cooler mount back in the airplane before calling it quits for the day.
