Brief Description:  More Snorkle Work

Today is my wife and my anniversary. She is traveling back from visiting the grandchildren so I had limited time to work on anything today so I chose to get a little more work done on the snorkle.

Last session I bonded in the plug I made for the weak area of the snorkle. It is sealed up well but the inside is a little rough looking. I mixed some micro and using a large popcicle stick I was able to level the micro across the nooks and cranny's. I had cut two pieces of 5.8 oz fiberglass and cut the shape out using the plastic wrap sandwich method.

After gettting the micro level I placed the two pieces of fglass on top and had a piece of peel ply ready to go and placed it on top of everything. It was definitely a cramped workspace to work within but I was able to get it all laid down.

I used the rest of the micro to lay down on the outside where there was some unevenness from bonding the snorkle back together after cutting it....so I laid it out and put peel ply on top.
