The engine traveled very nice from OKC. I was able to park the truck in the garage when we got home and figure how to unload the engine later. We didn't hit any rain on the way home but Monty at Barretts had placed a large bag over the box and I had bought a tarp from Harbor Freight to add additional protection.
The next day I figured out a plan on unloading the box from the truck and getting it in the basement. Having moved plenty of machines in my day weighing up to 4500 lbs I figured a way to get the 400 lbs of engine out using my aluminum ramps I have. It worked smoothly and I placed it on dollies and rolled it into the basement....less than an hour and great help from my wife Kathryn and grandsons Noah & Aiden.
