I put the adel clamp on the cable after cutting the cable to length. I then had to adjust the arm of the butterfly valve to where I needed it and tighten it. I have my control so that the butterfly valve is open when the cable is pushed in. The reason for that is normally the valve will be open. It is only occasionally that it will be closed so that's why I chose that setup.
I made a small aluminum stop that I slid onto the cable so it will stop the cable and the butterfly valve at the perpendicular closed position. All is adjusted and works great....on to the next item!
