I cut some scrap .032 aluminum strips to just make prototype supports for the front of the oil cooler. Once again it took my time. I made poster board prototypes first which got me in the ballpark. Then I made them out of the sheetmetal strips.
I pondered the best place to attach them to the firewall and was able to use the solid structure behind the firewall to find places to anchor both support arms. Next session I will use the 1/8 inch angle to make the arms.
