Kind of difficult to quantify everything in this day in the shop.
Ralph came over and we worked quite a while with wires. Hooking up wiring to various items that we wanted to test and configure. Ralph connected the roll servo while I crawled in the tail section and pinned and connected the pitch servo. We temporarioy hooked up CHT wires to see if we would get any indication.
The rest of the session was working on configuring the Garmin boxes. Of course as Ralph told me to be surprised if everything was perfect the first time......which is wasn't. There are issues with an RS-232 setting that can't be set per instructions. We have Comm 1 which is the GTN-650 which is working on the GTN-650 box itself....but not speaking to the other Garmin Displays but shows a big red X in each display. We also have the PIC Stick PTT that would not operate the radio which is another problem to resolve.
Overall we got some more items completed...but it's one step forward and a half-step back kind of day. Will give it another go next session!
