Brief Description: Install flap weldment and actuator
Got another boost from Ralph that came over Saturday for some avionics assistance.
After discussing where we were at it was determined that I should work on the flaps to install and drill for the actuator. So while Ralph was concentrating on the harness sorting, I worked on the flaps.
I got the weldment and actuator off the floor joist where they were hanging and got the weldment installed. Then I got the actuator put into the fuse with bolts and clecos. I used my power supply to run the flaps up and down and made some adjustment on the rod end to get the motor clearance where it needed to be.
I then began to drill in snap bushings where I planned on running the wire for the flap motor, the flap position sensor, and the AOA flap position sensor.
In between was assisting Ralph with other things so that is why I reduced my hours.
