Brief Description:  Relocate Antenna Doublers & XPDR doubler

I conferred with Rick about where he located his Comm antennas. He sent me an email with his only photo of where he located his antennas. His location was behind the footwell. I decided to move the doubler forward but still a couple inches behind the location he chose. The new location actually brings the doubler under the footwell panel instead of behind it. The whole key is to get horizontal separation and keeping clearance from the ground on the antennas.

Next I located the transponder doubler location in the rear of the airplane by the bellcrank. Since my transponder connection is on the left outboard I decided to run it up the left side of the fuselage. Once again using my precision square I got the doubler perpendicular to the bulkhead, I wanted to be sure this antenna was nice and square because it has an airfoil type design that I didn't want to interfere with aerodynamics on the fuselage.

Satisfied with location and alignment I drilled the doubler to the fuselage. Now getting the doubler processed for riveting to the fuselage.

Surpassed the 2400 hour mark....sometimes it seems as though I will never get done!!!
