So I basically began to lift the dimensions off the panel layout and transferred them to a print. I have a pad of large graph paper and was able to draw it half-scale.
Before I drew the print I carefully marked the center locations of all the cutouts that would have to be made in the panel. I have an 18 inch flex scale and I was able to put some very accurate markings on the taped down, actual size, box cutouts that I made from poster board.
So I began drafting the print based on the locations of the center of the cutouts. It took a few hours in the process....but I wanted to have a plan....not just wing it. So using the scale and a set of visor magnifiers the print was slowly created.
