I removed the canopy from the fuselage to continue working the fairing. I removed all the packing tape covering various parts of the canopy to keep flox/micro from sticking.
I did some more work on the canopy fairing to prep it for priming including filling and sanding some areas that needed attention. Once again...not looking for perfect surface on the inside...going to leave it a little "raw" look.
Since I will be putting the same topcoat on the inside fairing as I used on the interior I decided to just sand some "drips" on a few of my panels and will re-shoot the topcoat on them rather than trying to shave and sand the drips. Spoke with Andy at Stewart Paint....he is always VERY helpful. I wanted to get his direction on the process to re-shoot the panels.
