Brief Description: Cutting and Fitting the Canopy Part 8
I wasn't happy with the way the canopy frame ribs were starting to interfere with the plexi. Rather than make the cuts on the sides I decided to notch the areas where the ribs began to contact the canopy.
To make the clearances I used my dremmel tool with the sanding disk. I found the fine sanding disk removed the material quickly and left a pretty good finish. I then went around with 220 grit sanding paper to finish all the half round clearance cuts I made.
Using a couple boards on the bench I made a place to set the canopy while sanding the edges. Worked well with a little sliding back and forth.
