The new spar service bulletin calls for the flanges to have angles cut on them in four places. I installed the spar on the HS-801 skin and marked the rivet nearest the point where the angle was to be cut. This was done so when I laid out the angle I could make sure to maintain the Minimum Edge distence between the angle and the rivet. I only marked one spar as they are symetrical and used that one to obatin a measurement to mark all four angles.
I deburred the spars. Next I marked the locations of the corner reliefs that must be put into the spar where there was cracking found. This will alleviate the stress in that area that tended to cause cracking. Good work session
