Brief Description: Horizontal Stab Service Bulletin
After almost 18 months of extensive travel for the job, our project is finally coming to a close. The next stage of our project will require FAR LESS TRAVEL...which is a good thing. I decided to get the project started up again and the fact that it has been cloudy and rainy since returning has helped keep me away from outdoor chores( thanks to a nor'easter followed by Hurricane Joaquin)!
I am getting close to ordering my finish kit for my project. In light of that I decided to tackle the Service Bulletin SB 14-01-31.8 for the horizontal front spar due to the cracking issues that have been found on some aircraft. I figured it would be easier now then after the aircraft is flying!
So in this session I was able to get all the wing skins drilled out. I actually drilled out the flanges on the next work session but figured I would put the pics in here to leave room for other photos.
So far all the rivet drilling has gone superb...steady as she goes!
