Brief Description:  Mid Cabin Storage Cubby #4

I began to lay the fiberglass on the mold tonight. Having not done this before I got a few tips from friends. I basically learned that as long as you get it to lay on there and use several layers it will work! I found it was messy. I should have cut out the pieces prior to starting. I only cut out the first layer....that wasn't smart. I also experimented....I used cutouts from cloth and I used cloth from rolls that I have purchased. I was experimenting as much as I was trying to make a part.

In the future I need to come up with a better process for laying out the cloth. In the end though all the cloth went down and laid flat and was resin soaked.....so hopefully it will come out ok.

I also laid a couple pieces of "peel ply" to see how that worked....it makes for a lot less sanding because when you peel it off the mold it leaves a far smoother surface than without putting it on.

Four layers put down....will hope for the best!
