Put in a lot of work on some simple but time consuming activities.
I placed more fiberglass on snorkle areas where I couldn't complete due to having to cleco the snorkle together. I also had to remove some fiberglass due to a mismatch that would make a smooth transition between the two halves of the snorkle difficult. I then used a strip of .020 aluminum scrap to cleco to the "half fiberglassed" snorkle to assist holding it in place and acting as a barrier for the fiberglass to keep from entering the hole that I created in the snorkle.
I then worked on the baffles. the final clean and wash after scuffing with scotchbrite took a while to complete. Then it was taking the parts and final riveting them to each other.
I have been trying to get the baffles ready for powder coating prior to me leaving for a work trip....so I have been getting up and going to the shop by around 0400.....then heading back out aa soon as work is done in the afternoon....hoping to get them being worked on while I am gone!
