Brief Description:  Sand Right Side of Canopy Skirt

Once again I took to the canopy to try to keep all the moving pieces of the project heading towards completion to get the project in the air. I used the Super-fil that was recommended to me by Rick which is an epoxy based filler. It dries rock hard. Rick also turned me on to using an orbital sander to knock down the rough surface that the filler leaves after applying.

Armed with the orbital sander sporting 150 grit sandpaper I tackled the skirt and got it all sanded. The orbital sander is a lifesaver and really works well. The weather hit the 50's so I was wanting to jump on the opportunity to set up the saw horses and get it done on a sunny warmish day as sanding the Super-fil is a dusty project.

Now there will be more processes of another filler and multiple coats of primer to get the skirt where it will be hopefully paint ready. I am looking to lessen the work of the paint shop and have it look good so as I am flying with it only primed it won't be an eyesore.

THIS SESSION FINDS ME AT 3300 HOURS OF BUILD TIME.......this project is the War & Peace version of a "Quickbuild" kit.........gee wiz!!!
