Continued fiddling with the baffling tonight. Now that things are getting more locked into position some final adjustments have to be made.
When the baffling for the #1 cylinder was done I really jumped the gun a little on getting the front support bend in the baffle bent a little prematurely. Since things have gotten further adjusted on the right inlet ramp it changed the angle enough to need to be re-bent. I am not a fan of unbending and re-bending aluminum but in this situation it had to be done. I figured if it had a problem I could always order another one. Fortunately the 2024 aluminum is a lot more malleable than 6061 which will normally crack.
I carefully unbent the flange and marked the new line for the new angle. After all the bending and finessing it back into shape I had the right angle without cracking the aluminum.
Switching to the left ramp I got the top filter bracket positioned and marked up for trimming to size.
