Brief Description:  Right Switch Console (Part 1)

I climbed up into the cockpit and decided to just sit there and work the right console switching panel.

I had power and ground lights to connect for the Main and Stby Alternator Fail lights as well as the Starter Engaged light on the panel. In addition the two wires that go to the Sense circuit so two wires will splice in that circuit.

Once again I wanted the indicator lights to be removable as well as the switch console so I decided to use knife splices for the connections since they will fit through the holes in the front of the panel and have to be pulled out throuth the front and the knife splices will fit through the hole. I don't love knife splices but they work and would do what I want them to do.

So it was measuring and cutting the wires to what I felt would be the right length, then labeling and attaching the knife splice terminals. I laced some of the wire pairs to dress them up a bit. I then used some expandable sheathing to put over the knife splices to give them protection from shorting out as they are open and the power and ground wires will be separated and the power wires will be individually sheathed.
