I received the fitting I had been waiting for from Aircraft Spruce. It is a Phenix fitting that will go from a flared AN fitting to a threaded fitting. The transition was needed to go to the quick disconnect fitting....a little pricey but well worth it for the purpose. Phenix fittings are a good quality fitting.
I bought a brass 90 degree hose fitting for going around the corner of the tank. I placed the metering valve and quick disconnect and put the right length of hose in between the valve and disconnect to get the length exactly as needed to the firewall. I attached a couple hose stand off clamps to support it all and using my great Clamptite tool I secured the hose to the fittings.....love that tool!
