Ralph came over for another session along with his wife Laura as she recently had back surgery and wanted new walls to look at for a while. Kathryn and her sat in the living room and did projects and chatted. Laura brought her Ancestry to do on her laptop and Kathryn continued on sorting and categorizing her millions of photos she has....they were busy all day!
Meanwhile back at the basement, Ralph worked in the electrical bay and pretty much spent the day doing so.......made the shunt fusible links, battery cables, and misc stuff and installed them all.
He also made a solution of RTV and Acetone and thinned out the RTV and dipped the fire sleeves in the solution and set them asise to dry.....this gives a little more protection and binds the fibers together on the firesleeves. The sleeves will be used for the firewall pass thru's. Also he dressed the wires going to the regulators by making a foam-cardboard template of the wire locations seen in pic 2.
I always start by feeding the help well....breakfast was two eggs, three strips of bacon, two sausage links, two fresh blueberry pancakes, toast and coffee. The trick is trying to get the help well fed without putting them into a "food coma" and ruining productivity!!!!! haha
