Got to work on the project again after work. I am leaving for a week and want to keep things going.
I immediately got working on the left side firewall pass thru so we could get it installed in order to get some sensor and engine wires routed. I have a great carbide hole cutter that makes quick work of getting the large hole cut. The smaller ones are actually a little more challenging as they like to grab the stainless steel....but I got those successfully drilled and got it all deburred.
Using high temp RTV I ran a bead around the flange on the inner and outside flanges. I got the stainless screws inserted and torqued......the longest part was getting the RTV cleaned up.
I began to work on the wires for the GEA 24 and getting all the Dsub connectors hooked up to the box. Next will be getting the large bundle of wires routed thru the cabin to the engine!
