No pics tonight. I completed the final threading of the power and ground wires for the pitot heat. I also had to complete the ground wires for the wing landing lights and thread them towards the forest of tabs (FOT) to get them connected. I actually decided to re-position five ground wires to other terminals for better access of the open tabs on the FOT. I was going to leave open ones on the row second from the bottom but decided that it would make those open tabs more difficult to access after the aircraft is completed. Out of a 40 tab FOT that I installed I currently only have 5 open tabs......and that is with a few tabs doing double duty on some circuits. The additional FOT I have on the firewall currently have an additional 12 ground wires waiting to be connected. It is amazing how quickly the ground tabs get filled.
I origonally was going to have all the grounds run to the firewall FOT which has 72 tabs and since necessity and convenience dictated I put in the FOT in the avionics area, I maybe able to remove one FOT block on the firewall FOT.....to be determined.
I made a bunch of labels for those ground wires that I staged for future connections yet to be made or got shrunk and completed along with the fast-on connectors.
