Brief Description:  Spar Cap Installation (cont)

Continued to work on the Spar Caps installation with the pop rivets. I got the right side done but had to work around the fuse-relay bay and on both sides I had to remove the forward screw for the canopy rail because it was inteferring on getting the rivet gun positioned for squeezing the rivet.

With the spar caps on I decided to get the hardware and install the fuse-relay bay cover. Everything fit snugly. I then used the fuse matrix to install the correct fuses in the block slots.

The fuse block came with a cover but it is larger than it really needs to be. I am going to consider a way to modify it to slim it down as it sticks out far more than it needs too. Or I will simply fabricate a new cover for it.......another project for another day. I can worry about that later in the process right now I want to keep the project going to flying status!

Well another hundred hour mark....2900 hours.....hopefully I am drawing close to the end the build phase and get to the flying phase!!!
