I began to work the wires for the AeroLed Tip lights. The switch I am using will be for the Landing Lights and Wig-Wag mode. The switch of choice will be a three position (on-on-on) switch that I will wire to be an Off-On-On switch. The bottom position will be off....the center position will be wig-wag, and the upper position will be landing lights on. It is known as a 2-10 switch.
As I was working on the wiring and preparing it I decided that I had to check and make sure the switchology was right in my head in understand how to wire it properly. Using my ammeter and jumper wires with alligator clips I checked out the switch. Long story short after spending far too much time looking at the switch I spoke to my friend Ralph and he finally determined I had wired the switch in a "mirror image" to what it was supposed to be.....so changing around and the switch worked as it was supposed to! That ended the session for the day.
