Brief Description:  CB Panel and Instrument Panel

Put a good work day in the shop today. I continued by putting the buss bar and installing the CB's into the panel. The black plastic washers work great as a panel protector and they torque great and give the breakers a nice finished look.

I installed the prototype panel that I machined out of 5053 aluminum sheet in order to use it for wiring the switches in location....that way it limits the possibility of damaging the completed panel or labels I have attached.

I ran a bunch more power and ground wires for various items. I am trying to get all the wires installed and routed so I can dress and lace them in place in order to get the final length from the CB or Fuse panels to the switches.

I had a sudden realization that I never identified or ran a Buss power to the Ignition CB's that reside on the right console panel. Not a big problem but a duhhhhhh moment! I decided to pull what will be a short (about 12 inch) wire from the top buss A lug on the Fuse Box. It is a very short run and I am using a size 14 AWG for a 6 amp total draw.....plenty beefy. I am placing vinyl wrap and protecting the wire from shorting in every way due to the nature of Buss Feed wires being unprotected by circuit protection devices.
