Brief Description: Nav and Suntail Connector & Labels
I received my transfer labels for my panels today. It took a bit coming from Canada due to ordering them over the holiday. They look real nice and hopefully I can successfully get them in place without ruining them. Will have to work out the process. My friend Jim was a HUGE help in getting these done and I will get some additional "tech support" from him as I began to apply them.
I had to change the pins on one of the nav/strobe lights because I put the wrong connector on it. I clipped the other one off and installed the new connector and pins. I started working on the Suntail strobe and called it quits. The crimping tool for the small Molex 1/16th pins is really too wide for crimping as you have to be REAL careful to get the jaws in the EXACT spot or it bends or twists the pin. I have been able to do so but I am going to modify the crimpers tomorrow to make it easier for the small pins.
