Brief Description:  Canopy Latch and exterior handle

I continued to work on the canopy latch....I kept on sneaking up to the finish size of the latch by taking off a little material at a time. I kept modifying the latch until the canopy latch was just right. By closing the canopy allt the way and allowing the pin block on the rail determine the fully closed position, then feeling the latch engagement on the pin. The latch has a sort of a cam designed into it so once is overcenters the cam area it relaxes the pull a bit.

So I kept adjusting the cutout in the "elbow" until the canopy pulled over the cam lobe and then returned to its previous position. The force is light but positive and relaxes the canopy to its state of no tension so there is no deformation of the canopy.

I then pulled out the exterior handle and began to get a plan profiling and attaching it to the interior handle / latch assembly

Good start to the New Year of building. 2021 was the most hours of buid time yet!
