Brief Description: Park Brake and Alt Air Cable Mod #4
I finished up the brackets and put them in to check out the fit. All looks good. I did have to do a little modification on one snap bushing because the bushing would not allow the cable barrel to go through....it ends up that due to the 1/16 thickness of the bracket the small clips that hold the snap bushing in place were not fully retracting to allow the full diameter to be acheived. I was able to remove some of the clip with a cutoff wheel to accommodate for the bracket thickness and they fully retracted.
After being sure all was well I prepped the brackets and painted them and hung them in the shop for drying.
I had put the floors in the airplane mainly to get some final fitting and get some measurements for the seat cushions to confirm them for Oregon Aero. I removed a couple and will probably remove the rest to get some work done under the floors. I will start hooking up the control column parts, the roll trim, and complete some wiring.......
