Brief Description:  Flap Position Sensor Mount #4

Continuing with the Flap Position Sensor tonight I began to look for what I needed to do get the flap sensor to stay within the travel limits of the sensor's arm while going through the full travel of the flaps.

It is all a matter of the arc radius of the flap travel. So I basically knew to get the travel of the sensor arm within the "white mark" limits I placed on the arm, I had to reduce the radius of travel for the flap range.

I decided to make a little tab that would go perpendicular to the adel clamp which would shorten the arc radius. I made a small tab and drilled one hole through the adel tab and the small tab and clekoed it. The cleko held enough to give me the data that the small tab will reduce the arc distance enough to keep the sensor arm within its travel during the full flap travel range.

So next session will involve getting the best angle on the small tab and riveting the tab to the adel tab.
