Brief Description:  GIB Light wires and Airtex

Routed the ground wire for the GIB light to the front electrical bay. Made labels for the power and ground wires.

Next I looked at the Airtex ELT installation. I need to make a harness for the ELT. The system is self-powered so I don't need any circuits from the airplane electrical system, but I do need to run the harness for the remote switching control to the front of the airplane. For that the best way will be using sheilded wire.

I closed out the session by looking for a location in the back by the ELT to secure the buzzer. This item will sound if for some reason the ELT has been activated which can happen accidentily and will be sending out a false alarm and alert search and rescue teams as well as drain the battery. Not a good scenario in either case. There is also a red light in the panel mounted remote switch that warns of the ELT has been activated.

There are two ways to mount the buzzer, either by using the flanges and two small screws or using about a large threaded nut through about a 3/4 inch hole......I haven't decided yet but will look into it further.
