Brief Description:  AOA wiring and Pilot LEMO

I continued to work on the AOA. I got the D-sub connector and harness and attached the connector. There is plenty of wire length in the harness for reaching the AOA indicator and for the power wire to go to the fuse panel on the right side.

The access is working out very good where I located it on the back of the forward baggage bulkhead. I did want to make a bit of a service loop so I got the lacing out and did so. The rest of the wiring will have to wait until I get the location for the AOA indicator figured out which will be a little down the road.

I fed the wire harness for the pilots LEMO/headset connectors into the gear tower. I bought this grommet edging for the larger holes and edges where I wanted to protect the wiring. It is not cheap but neither is having to fix wiring when it shorts out due to abrasion. I still have to secure the wires a bit in the gear tower.

I started thinking of how I was going to feed the GIB LEMO wiring. It has a round plug on the harness portion and it will take a 1" hole to feed it through. I am not making a hole that big to feed it so I will probably remove the pins to feed the line......but I have to figure that one out too.

Slow progress tonight....but progress nonetheless.
