Ralph came over Saturday for a good, productive and long work session on the harness. Ralph has done electronics most of his life and though he has been retired he continues to do contract work for one business and also works part time at a general aviation avionics shop at our local airport.
So Ralph has been helping me to get my wiring harness straightened out, Long story but suffice it to say that the harness I received needed "modification" and that is what Ralph has been patiently working on.
Meanwhile I was working on modifying trays and other parts that had to be done in order to move and shift things around to get the harness to work as needed. I couldn't really do this without Ralphs assistance.....a million thanks Ralph!!!
By the end of the session we had the wires sorted out a great deal and all the boxes and supports modified and in place. There is still work to be done but we are definitely on track to getting everything sorted out and installed.
I learned a lot about measuring a harness that will help if I ever need to do it again....which I doubt I will but perhaps can assist others in the endeavor.....
