I worked on revisions to my avionics and started by completing the GEA24 bracket for the new location of the unit. I put all the nutplates in the two brackets and it is ready to install when the time comes.
I then turned my attention to the transponder brackets and tray. I did some moving of the tray and checking and rechecking of what I wanted to do to make things work out. I decided that moving the brackets to the right about 2 1/4 inches should adequately resolve the harness issues.
I unbolted the two forward brackets from the support and then drilled the rivets out of the rear brackets in the rear support.
Now I will shift the brackets over and redrill and install the brackets. Hopefully that will resolve the issues.
