Brief Description: AOA Review and complete brackets
During this session I completed the brackets and installed the nutplates. Since it is on the baggage compartment wall I decided to possibly use some soft grommets that I have and place them inbetween the brackets and the wall to form a little insulator from the vibration.....don't know if it will help but we will see.
With that done I decided to spend some time and really give a good look at the installation manual and compare it to what I had in the box. I bought this from another person years ago and it has been sitting and waiting for it's turn in the build process. It has the harness with some connectors and switches, but there is an additional kit with new switches and parts also. The end result is I called Advance and ordered some parts and connectors. One thing in particular is the display housing that mounts on the glaresheild...which will be modified for my installation. All the wiring will be new.
On a side note.....Advance is a small operation...but Tricia and Jonathan were a big help and took great care of my needs in getting the parts!
