Brief Description:  Avionics Access Door

Once again back home from taking care of business for family which has caused loss of build time, but life is about not allowing the the important tasks of life be ignored due to the build.

So tonight I felt I wanted to work on the avionics access door that is located on the back side of the forward baggage door. I wanted to get the door riveted to the hinge, but the pin in the hinge was cut flush with the hinge and I wanted to be able to remove the hinge pin. I removed the pin and took a longer piece of hinge pin stock that I had and cut and bent a new pin for the door.

Next I removed the hinge for the door and set it on the door and riveted it together. Rechecked fit and looks good.

I got these dehydrator plugs that my friend Jim suggested....since the engine is still in the box I decided to use my food processor and vacuum seal them until needed......keep the moisture away!
