I began figuring the roll servo harness length. I have some cloth covered nylon core rope which is about 1/4 inch in diameter. I found I could snake it and used electrical tape to tape it in place. I think in doing so I have been able to get a very accurate measurement of the harness for the roll servo.
I was able to take the rope and route it around the servo to the locations it would have to be secured to avoid the aileron and pushrods while getting the wire safely to the avionics area. The length of the wire from the roll servo to the set point in the avionics bay (with no extra added) is ten feet seven inches. Extra will be added for good measure.
