Brief Description:  Install Regulators / begin running wires

After wiring the grounds to the regulators I decided to put them back in the airplane. I identified which regulator will be used to feed the main and the standby alternators. As per instructions from B&C I will turn the voltage in the standby regulator down on the adjustment screw about 1.5 turns so the two regulators won't be fighting each other to provide the voltage. The main will do the bulk of the work and the standby will loaf until needed to provide more voltage.

I began running the bus wires to the fuse bay and the circuit breaker panel. I am running six feeds for the six individual busses. Three feeds to the CB panel, and three feeds to the Fuse block. I am sizing the feed wires to amply handle the amperage load of each bus individually.

So I am now navigating through the process of wiring the project. I remember building the empennage items....doing the fiberglass.....the canopy....the landing gear....from start to now I have had to learn new skills and the electrical is no different!

My greatest asset in the build are having other experienced builders such as Rob, Rick, Jim, Ralph, and others I have gleaned information and assistance from that have helped me continue forward in the project. They have ALL been invaluable and as I navigate through the electrical I will call on them again....as I already have. Without these mentors I probably have sold the project by now! Thanks to everyone!
