Brief Description:  Tech data review & vacuum modification

In doing all the drilling for grommets and snap bushings I took time to vacuum up some of the shavings. My shop vac has a larger hose to in getting down the gear tower it really isn't able to get in there, besides the fact that the towers are getting kind of obstructed by cables and lines.

I had some 2 inch pipe and carpet tape to close the ID a little to fit the hose better. Then I used tape to tape in a piece of air conditioner drain line that is good and flexible to use. I placed it on the end of the hose and started the vac.....well it worked beautiful to suck up all the shavings in the nooks and crannies. One thing I wasn't prepared for is the high pitch turbine sound it made from the little hose....I had to wear my ear muffs the pitch was so high. When I shut it down it had the sound of a little turbine engine spooling down....so it is loud but cool!

I then took some time for reviewing the wiring of the B & C voltage regulator. Not much accomplished project wise.....but I needed to review and get something to clean out the towers and other areas.
