Brief Description: Locate clearance for switches in subpanels
I worked on laying out more switches. I started with moving the boost pump switch and light a little higher and changing the border for visibility without the cross stripes.
I then began to look on placing the rheostat pots on the subpanel. I felt with the rheostats and the two toggle switches it was just a little too cramped. The pots are kind of big and i want to make the subpanels removable with all the switches attached. So I felt if I would cut a little clearance into the bottom of the subpanel area that I would gain adequate spacing. I measured and cut a template out of poster board to outline where I wanted to put the clearance for the pots. I marked the areas to cut out for the pots and was satisfied with where they would be.
I am going to lay out all the panels that need to have switch, light and other holes in them and then get them all cut at the same time.
