Brief Description:  Complete GTN Rear Supports and Plan other Boxes

So I did all the cutting, fitting, clamping, and drilling for the rear supports. I also had to make brackets for the rear tray brackets for attaching the supports to the rear brackets.

The brackets came out good and I began to see what other boxes I could attach to the support brackets to maximize space behind the RV-8 panel that is very limited. It looks like the GTN support brackets will work great for the Engine Module and GAD 29 module.

I believe the best location for the EFIS backup battery will be on the right side of the panel area. I want to mount it with the base facing down as it is pretty heavy and I don't really want it to hang off a side structure.

On the far left side of the area is where it looks as though the Remote Radio and the Remote Transponder will fit. The remote radio is just a metal box that bolts in and has an antenna and
D-sub that connect to it. On the contrary, the remote transponder has a tray and must be in a place that allows it to slide out in order to remove it. So I am placing the remote radio below on the left side and the transponder on the top position on the left side.

So I at least have a general idea....but will ponder if there are any other configurations that will work better before committing to the current locations.
