Brief Description:  Right console switches

Well time really flies when you are sitting and pondering. A lot of time in this session with seemingly little accomplished.

I received my order of desiccant today so I made a holder for it out of a good sized yogert container. Drilled gobs of holes around....under...and on top. I opened up the engine box and added the container with the blue desiccant inside.

I decided to take some scrap aluminum and install a switch guard to see how it would work for the rather long ignition switches. I drilled the hole for the switch and installed it. I figured the distance of 5/8 inch on either side of the switch would work good. The switch extends beyond the crown of the guard by about .200....just under 1/4 inch. In playing around with the switch I feel that it is worth having the guards. I will put a total of three guards....one in the middle and one on each end. When checking it out it seemed my hand would hit the guard before it would hit the switch when the ignitions are in the "on" position.

I took some time to make up a pattern of the switch and guard to once again check out the locations for the switches. Still leaning towards placing on the console.....will see.....
