Brief Description:  Electrical planning

I cut the shaft on the GIB light rheostat about 3/8 of an inch to get the knob to be where it is needed. They give you a longer shaft for customizing the installation for depending on where you are installing the knob.

I then sat and figured out where I was going to place the circuit breakers on the left console panel. I will have two busses on that panel. One will be activated along with the Master Switch, the other will be activated by the Avionics Master. I am doing that mainly for two reasons. I don't want to have the extra power draw during the startup cycle, and I don't want the avionics to be subject to any spikes during the startup cycle. Todays avionics are far more protected than the older ones from spikes.....but it is an extra precaution. Also I can leave the knobs in the "on" position and they will all go on at once. Anyway that's the plan.

I also played around with where I would like to place a 10amp power socket as well. I will probably put it in the area of the GIB as it can be accessed by either front or back positions.
