Brief Description:  Forward Baggage Cover Panel #7

Today I designed and made the other two parts for the door assembly. I made a spacer out of .062 aluminum sheet. This has an identical profile as the opening in the top panel. I am going to make a fiberglass bin that will set in the opening and be used to put tools or anything else that will fit inside as an additional storage.

I can make it almost 4 inches deep. I can simply lift it out to gain access of the electrical area without removing the whole panel. The bin will be held in by the panel cover which will be secured by probably four camlock screws.

So now all I have to do is get everything lined up and cut the outside profile, the hinge, and rivet it all together. Then make the fglass bin to fit. Lot of work to make these custom parts.

I have gotten in 385.8 hours of build time this year. I am trying to take advantage of the COVID time off from job travel to get a good amount of work done. I need to get this project completed!
