I liked the way the bottom angle fit and decided to match drill it to the fuselage skin. I will dimple them later.
Another issue I had to address was the fact that the front nutplate angles were not on the same surface plane due to the location they sat on the fuse skin. After assessing it for a bit I decided that the face of the top nutplate angle needed to be bent inward towards the fuse wall. I set it up in my little hardwood homemade brake that I have used and with a hammer and other tools got it to be set on the same plane after several adjustment sessions.
Now to get everything locked in place and measure for the front panel.
