Brief Description:  Fuse/CB Panel design

Tonight I worked on the right sidewall Fuse/CB panel that I decided to make in order to keep from putting it in the avionics section behind the panel. I am simply afraid that there is going to be too much packed in that space already so I feel the "dead space" on the right sidewall would be a good location. Once again Van's prepunched holes for their switch panel would have to be filled with rivets and I thought to put them to better use.

I made up a temporary top support using the prepunched holes. Next I began to work on a mock up of the bottom support. I had to keep in mind that I have to have room for the mid-cover screws to be accessed so I designed and tested what it would take and a two inch space between the bottom support and the cover would give ample room to access the screws.

Using electrical tape I began to establish the position of the bottom support angle.
