I continued with the brake lines. I fabricated the right and left lines from the parking valve to the fittings in the bottom of the gear towers. Once again a little time intensive especially the left set of lines in picture 1. Any normal individual would look at the line and think it was bent up by a monkey. The reality is that the line needed to clear the throttle quadrant cables so I decided the best course would be to go around them. So the bulk of the session was getting the lines fabricated and installed ( broken up by a two hour lawn mowing session).
I removed the engine mount since it was starting to get in the way.
I came back in the shop and assembled the rudder pedals. I made extensions for the bottom to make sure I would not have my feet resting on the brake portion of the pedals when landing etc. Some folks love them....others hate them. I think they are necessary after flying with them on my friend Rick's RV8 for four years.
So I got them assembled and nutplates installed after a little grief. I then installed them on the frame of the pedal assembly along with the master brake cylinders. I will get the assembly into the airplane the next session.
