Brief Description:  Baggage shelf nutplates & brake lines

I started by continuing with the forward baggage shelf. I began drilling for all the nutplates with the jig. It was a pain because the angle where the nutplates go is final rivited into the fuse....it really had some challenges in getting some drilled and was time consuming. I got them done and to the point of installing the nutplates which provided for some additional challenges in squeezing the rivets.....and the option of bucking them was worse. Once again after an inordinate amount of time I got them done.

I installed the baggage shelf and found out that my bracket for the parking brake module would not fit because the shelf interferred. After trying to see if I could make it fit I decided to make another one so It was out to the shop and I fabricated another bracket with an additional 1/8 inch of clearance to make sure there would be no interferrence. I installed the fittings in the parking brake module and rivited the bracket in the ariplane.

I started bending the brake lines to install to the parking brake module. I found for the subtle bends in making lines that I prefer the "spring tube bender" that plumbers and HVAC technicians use. The spring really worked well to form the bends and angles I needed. Just started the tube bending process and called it a night.
