Brief Description:  Drill engine mount and forward baggage shelf

I decided to make some pins out of some 3/8 aluminum rod I had tin the shop. I felt making the 1/4 inch diameter at the end would help me locate them in the currently drilled 1/4 inch holes and I could see how the alignment looked. Manual says you may have to bend the mount a little. I did tweak one side just a wee bit with a 2x4.

That got 3 of the 4 holes where they needed to be but the bottom right hole was not going to be able to be tweaked into position. I used the pins and after getting them slipped into the three holes I could see the bottom right hole (facing firewall) was about a third of the way off. I marked the pin location with a fine point marker to know where I had to remove materiel. I removed the mount and used the dremmel tool to open the hole to align. After getting it close I drilled all the holes and the bolts slipped right in....Done!

I went to install my forward baggage area shelf in the airplane to locate the parking brake module and fabricate and install the brake lines. I realized I still needed to drill the remaining holes in the baggage panel so I got them drilled and ready for nutplates next session.
