Brief Description:  More sanding and micro on fairings

Once again I started by sanding....same ole story same ole song and dance my friend! The fairing flaws were disappearing finally so I felt it was time to work on the inside.

There was just ever so slightly a gap in a couple places between the fairing and fuselage. I decided to lay a thin layer of micro on the fairing to "tighten" the fairing seal in a couple places. To do this I laid down where I wanted it using electrical tape. I find a good electrical tape works great because it is able to profile various shapes. So I laid some micro on the two skirts and then clecoed them back on the airplane. Of course to do this you need to make sure the airplane is protected so that's the reason for the wax paper and packing tape.....it works great for a release agent.

Now it's hurry up and wait!
